Easy to use platform

I got the membership access to check out the job database. Found some decent listings. The site was easy to navigate. Good for finding freelance photography contracts.

My photos are selling!

I can't believe how much I've learned since getting the membership access! The photography training tutorials are top-notch, and the stock agency directory helped me finally get my photos accepted by a major agency. I've already sold a few images thanks to their global job listings. I'm telling all my photographer friends about this; it's made such a difference for my freelance photography career. Definitely coming back for more of their resources!

Decent for a beginner

So, I decided to try out PhotoJobz after hearing about it from a friend. I got the membership and spent some time going through the smartphone photography guide. It actually gave me some good tips, stuff I hadn't thought of before. The unlimited photo uploads are nice too, so I can just dump everything there. It feels like a pretty chill way to get into selling photos, not too complicated or anything. I'm happy with it for now.

Good resources, slow support

I signed up for the membership access and found the photography training tutorials really helpful for improving my landscape shots. The stock photo selling guide also gave me some good ideas for where to submit my work. However, I had a question about the portfolio hosting feature and it took their member support forum about three days to get back to me. The information was useful once I got it, but the wait was a bit frustrating. Overall, it's a solid platform for learning and finding opportunities, but customer service could be quicker.

Great value for membership

I was looking for an affordable way to get into stock photography and decided to try PhotoJobz with their membership. The photography training tutorials and the stock photo selling guide alone felt worth the price. I've already started using the portfolio hosting. It definitely feels like I'm getting a lot for what I paid, especially compared to other platforms I looked at. It's a good investment for someone wanting to make some extra cash with their camera.

how does PhotoJobz compare to something like Shutterstock? is it worth getting both or is one better than the other?

J Jennifer 3 weeks ago
Shutterstock is more for stock images, PhotoJobz is more about connecting you with actual 'jobs' or custom requests. Different vibes.

S Susan H. 3 weeks ago
PhotoJobz seems to focus more on finding specific work, while Shutterstock is just putting your stuff out there for anyone to buy. It depends what you're looking for, but they're not really direct competitors IMO.

hey, was thinking about trying this out. i saw something about a $1 trial, is that still a thing or did I miss it?

M Melissa Adams 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they usually have that. I got it last month. Just gotta look for it, sometimes it pops up when you're about to leave the site.

N Nathan 3 weeks ago
They almost always have some kind of trial going on, usually a dollar for a few days. Keep an eye out when you're browsing, it might show up as a popup.

if I sign up, can I cancel my membership easily if I don't like it? like, no hidden fees or weird cancellation processes?

E Eric Torres 3 weeks ago
Yeah, it was super easy for me to cancel when I took a break. Just log in and there's an option.

Pretty straightforward. You can cancel through your account settings. I haven't heard of anyone having issues with it.

can you actually make money on this site, or is it mostly just a place to host your photos and not much else?

B Ben Williams 1 month ago
I've made a few sales, nothing life-changing yet but it's decent extra cash. They connect you to businesses looking for pics.

It's legit for selling, but don't expect to get rich overnight. It's more about building up your portfolio and getting some exposure for your work.

i'm looking for a place to sell my travel photos, mostly amateur stuff from my phone. is this site good for that or just for pros with fancy gear?

L Laura H. 1 month ago
Nah, you don't need a pro camera. I've uploaded some phone pics and they were fine. They're pretty open about what kinds of photos you can sell.

They actually have a guide for smartphone photography. So yeah, I think your travel photos would be welcome, even if they're from a phone.
